
The concrete channel led to high velocity downstream, obviously. Now, thanks to R.K. & K. and Anne Arundel County DPW the stormwater in a highly urbanized and impervious drainage area can re-connect with the floodplain and infiltrate into the subsoil vs. picking up speed and causing significant damage downstream.
